The Company

WVS Products

WVS-TECHNOLOGY was formed in 1988 by Dipl.-Ing. Walter V. Steinfeld.
Based on the extensive knowledge gathered during the employment with VARIAN the company concentrates in development and sales of RF- and Microwave Products, Power Grid Tubes and Vacuum Capacitors.
Additional the design and production of Industrial Microwave Equipment was established within a separate product line.
In 1997 WVS introduced Tube Rebuilding Technology in the European market as more and more tube manufacturers stopped the production an the left over companies took more or less a monopoly structure.
Based on the total European success story and the production stop of the last German tube manufacturer Siemens WVS took the decision to redevelop direct tube equivalents and obsolete tubes to support the customer with competitive products.
With new production resources in combination with most modern technology and manufacturing equipment WVS was able to enlarge the product capacity at better yield. This means:

Simultaneously WVS offers original tube technology from various manufacturers as well as Vacuum Capacitors and Variable Air Insulated Capacitors for RF-Applications in Broadcast, Science, Industrial and Military Applications.
With this step WVS-TECHNOLOGY has made a further progress to become leading supplier for the vacuum tube and capacitor devices in Europe.
