Vacuum Capacitors

COMET manufactures more than 300 basic types of vacuum capacitors, covering

Capacitance ranges from 3 to 6.600 pF
Current ratings up to 1.000 Amperes
Peak test voltages up to 90.000 Volts

For performance reasons, all COMET- capacitors are exclusively made with metal-ceramic envelopes. This permits them to withstand higher thermal and mechanical loads compared to glass types. Most of them are electrically and mechanically interchangeable or can be customized for existing applications. COMET-vacuum capacitors, within their technical specifications, will grant you excellent and long-lasting service.

Different types and executions of COMET-vacuum capacitors are made. Large numbers are available and a summation of basic categories and their most important specifications are shown in the list below. Differences between categories are in internal geometry, capacity, test voltage, and type of cooling.
