OEP Couplings manufactures a complete line of high-performance,innovative shaft couplings, precisely machined from advanced materials, using the most sophisticated machining technology available.

Coupling types offered include variations of Oldham, Oldham/universal, Block Jaw, Magnetic and rigid couplings, as well as universal joints.

Each is offered in a variety of sizes, materials, and bore types.Subcomponents are machined from high-strength alloys and modern thermoplastics on sophisticated multiaxis CNC machine tools capable of holding micron tolerances, under a quality system registered to the ISO9001:2000 standard. Unique complex geometries and technologically advanced coatings are employed to optimize performance.

Flexible and rigid shaft couplings

OEP Couplings manufactures a complete line of flexible and rigid shaft couplings, accommodating shaft diameters from 2mm (0.078 inches) up to 30mm (1.181 inches) in all common inch and metric shaft sizes.

Type OC. The classic Oldham coupling, with performance optimized through modern materials and precision CNC machining technology; high peak torque with zero backlash.

Type UC. A variation of Oldham coupling with cylindrical fin, allowing both u-joint flex and radial sliding. Smoothly accommodates both large angular and radial misalignments.

Type BC. The traditional sliding-block variant of the Oldham principle, offering stiff zero-backlash performance in challenging conditions, with an internal grease reservoir.

Type SC. Precision zero-backlash jaw coupling with polyurethane spider. Unique spider shape, tight tolerances and low friction coatings minimize reactive forces, increase service life.

Type UJ. Universal joint. Precisely machined yokes and cube, close clearances, advanced materials and coatings result in a smoothly flexing, strong, no-backlash economical joint.

Type RT. One of 3 types of rigid couplings offered: 3 pc as shown, one-pc clamping, and one-piece set screw, in aluminum, stainless, or electrically insulating Ultem©.
